WINE AND CULTURE SINCE 1142

Neustift Abbey is one of Eisacktal’s landmarks. Founded in 1142, the history of the abbey is as interesting as browsing around its library that contains over 96,000 books. In particular, the abbey is famous for its wines obtained from grape varieties cultivated here, in the northern-most white wine-making region of Italy.
We recommend sipping a glass of Eisacktal’s Sylvaner wine while enjoying a typical Tyrolean snack.
